Ever since Nissan presented the new global GT-R in 2007, the Japanese firm has been constantly refining its flagship model on an annual basis.
Now, following last year's model changes, which among other things, lifted the 3.8-liter twin-turbocharged V6 engine's output from 485HP to 530HP, the team over at NAGTROC forums is reporting that Nissan is already working on the 2013MY GT-R.
According to the co-founder of the site, Nissan recently held a European press event at the Nürburgring racetrack where it informed participants about its plans for the new model year.
These are said to include a remapping of the ECU as well as a revised intake and exhaust that will add around 40HP pushing output to as much as 570-horses while also lowering CO2 emission, along with upgrades to the suspension and transmission software, and changes to the vehicle's under-body aerodynamics.
The author also notes that while there won't be styling changes, the Premium Black Edition will be offered globally.
