Cobra Tries to Roughen Up the Nissan Juke Crossover

It has taken a while for tuners to warm up to the Nissan Juke, but we're slowly starting to see some new aftermarket products for the Japanese firm's odd-looking small crossover. One of the fist tuners to get their hands on the Juke is Germany's Cobra Technology, which created a styling set designed to give the Japanese crossover a more rugged-ish look.
As with other crossover and SUV models, Cobra Technology's first line of order is to fit a stainless-steel front grille guard that is said to meet European pedestrian safety standards. Optionally, buyers can add a pair of LED daytime running lights.
The kit also includes tubular side steps with integrated plastic steps, a sports exhaust system with twin tail pipes and the choice of 19- or 20-inch multispoke alloy wheels.

COBRA N+ Nissan Note body kit

European tuner Cobra N+ got its hands on all new Nissan Note mini MPV model which gets a dynamic bodykit that includes side skirts, front and rear spoiler, 17’’ alloys etc. Although there is a sporty kit for the suspension and the exhaust pipe, the engine bay remains as is, but I guess that won’t concern the people who will buy this kit.

Press Release

Exterior: A strikingly shaped front spoiler is part of the appearance package as is the front bumper grille made from high-gloss stainless steel. The rear can be refined with a roof spoiler, a rear valance and a chrome trim for the tailgate. Precise-fit side skirts together with chromed mirror covers and chromed moldings for the side direction indicators round out the exterior conversion. The COBRA N+ components don’t just look great; their exceptional quality and precise fit guarantee many years of enjoyment.

Interior: To separate the luggage compartment from the passenger compartment, COBRA N+ provides a custom-made luggage-compartment grille. A multi-piece sun shade for the rear windows is part of the program such as exclusive accessories for the cockpit. The COBRA N+ product lineup ranges from sill plates with illuminated COBRA N+ logo to foot pedals and a shifting knob made from aluminium.

Exhaust: The COBRA N+ sport exhaust with two chrome tailpipes is made from stainless steel and gives the rear a more exciting appearance. But that’s not all: The rear muffler also lends all engine versions a sportier engine sound.

Wheels: The COBRA N+ tire/wheel combinations are custom-tailored for all versions of the Nissan Note: Altogether there are seven different wheel designs in sizes ranging from 7Jx15 to 8Jx17. The most exclusive wheel is the multi-piece Cobra Grenada five-spoke wheel in size 8Jx17 with 205/45 R 17 tires.

Suspension: Specifically calibrated to these tires are the COBRA N+ sport springs, which lower the ride height of the small Japanese by some 30 millimeters. Read more at: www.cobra-sor.com

Cobra Technology Accessorizes New Volkswagen Touareg

The second generation of Volkswagen's Touareg has only been available in the European market since April, but the SUV has already started attracting a lot of attention from the aftermarket industry. One of the latest tuners to get their hands on the Touareg is Cobra Technology, which has just released a first batch of accessories for the SUV model.

The German tuning firm offers a stainless steel lower guard for the front bumper (you know, to protect the car from those pesky side curbs during parking), along with 80mm thick sidebars with rubber stepping surfaces plus a set of 20-inch alloy wheels shod in 275/45 R20 tires.

The front bumper guard is priced at €395, the side bars at €763 and the alloy wheels at €510.
