Official Photos of Maserati Kubang SUV

Here's our first look at the Maserati Kubang SUV that will be making its world debut today at the Frankfurt Motor Show. We'll soon bring you more details and live pictures from the reveal, but read on to see what we know so far.

The Kubang is believed to use the same platform architecture as the latest Jeep Grand Cherokee and Dodge Durango, and which itself is based on the underpinnings of the new Mercedes-Benz ML.

The Italian company said that all major system components will "unmistakably be Maserati", without however, going into any further details.

Stay tuned as we'll soon bring you more information and photos.

Maserati Quattroporte Sports Saloon Images

For those Maserati Quattroporte owners seeking a bit more flair from the Italian sports sedan, German tuning house MR Car Design has prepared a mild performance package. Starting with a pre-facelift model, MR Car Design’s engineers tweak the 4.2-litre V8 engine’s software and add a custom exhaust system lifting output by 30HP and 29Nm for a total of 430-horses and 480Nm (352 lb-ft) of peak torque.

Luckily, MR Car Design didn't mess around too much with the Quattroporte’s looks as the only cosmetic changes concern the new 22-inch Vossen alloy wheels shod in high-performance tires size 245/30 R22 at the front and 295/25 R22 with 15mm spacers at the back, the tinted windows and the new tail pipe designs.

A set of adjustable sport springs from H&R that lower the car’s ride height from 20mm to 30mm complete the updates.

Novitec Brings it on the Maserati GranCabrio

Enough is never enough for vehicle tuning houses like Novitec Tridente, which has presented its latest line of enhancements for the Maserati GranCabrio. Bone stock, the drop-top variant of the GT gets a 4.7-liter V8 engine that cranks out 440HP at 7,000 rpm and 490Nm (362 lb-ft) of torque at 4,750 rpm.

The installation of a supercharger system along with a watercooled intercooler and a modified ECU, help boost output to an impressive 590HP at 7,300 rpm and 572Nm (421.9 lb-ft), consequentially allowing for a new 0-100km/h (0-62 mph) time of 4.5 seconds.

For those that don’t mind digging a bit deeper into their pockets, Novitec also offers a custom made stainless steel exhaust system and KW aluminum coilover sport suspension.

A Novitec tune wouldn’t be complete without a new set of alloy wheels (20-inch at the front and 21-inch at the back) and an aerodynamics package that includes a front spoiler, side skirts, a rear apron and a boot lid spoiler, all made out of carbon fiber.
