The product news just keeps dropping in from General Motors' Chevrolet division this week.
After the announcements on the 2013 Colorado pickup truck, the Camaro ZL1 Convertible, the EN-V project and the Spark EV, Chevrolet revealed today that it will also introduce the all-new, 2013 TrailBlazer midsize SUV at the upcoming Dubai International Motor Show on November 10.
The General published a darkened-out teaser photograph along with a short statement saying that the 2013 Trailblazer will be based on a "new global midsize platform developed by GM do Brasil" and that sales will begin in Thailand starting in early 2012.
The automaker also added that "the TrailBlazer will combine the hauling and towing capability of an SUV with the ride comfort and efficiency of a crossover".
So where does that leave us? Well, all evidence points to that the 2013 Trailblazer will be based on the same platform as the new Colorado, which GM just confirmed for sale in the U.S. We'll have to wait and see if the Trailblazer will have the same fate.
